The authority of the name of Jesus is not to be used by individuals acting alone, because of the danger of misuse, and should never be used to hurt another. We can not use it any way we like or perceive, or to predict dates of the Lord’s return.
While I am a Christian man of God, and member of a Christian church, I must have authorization on behalf of the church, or the government, and have no divine power of my own. As Christians, we are supposed to respect civil authorities, and never use Christian authority to compromise public safety, or national or international security, or to recklessly endanger the physical, spiritual, emotional, or social well-being of others. I am sorry for hurting anyone.
Humility is also necessary for powerful uses of sacred, miraculous grace, such as raising the dead, which is a Christian prerogative.
