I would like to know where the money used to clean up after our unhoused campers comes from. Does it come from the Parks and Recreation money that department receives to protect and enhance our parks and greenbelts? Who exactly is paying for these cleanups, and out of what money?
Our parks belong to all the people, especially those who pay high property taxes, and certainly need to be protected. Parks and creeks are some of the primary amenities in Anchorage.
