Letters to the Editor

Letter: At my age, you should be able to order a drink without showing your ID

I liked your editorial about the nanny state. When you have finally reached the senior age, 80, you should be able to order a drink in a restaurant without showing an ID. My wife, who is 78, the other day was carded in the Fred Meyer liquor store when she bought some maraschino cherries. It would be interesting to know the age distribution of red-striped driver’s licenses.
