On behalf of the Wild Ice Skating Club of Alaska executive board, we would like to thank the Anchorage Parks and Recreation Department for their excellent work on the Westchester Lagoon skating trails. The twisty, interconnecting trails are engaging for both beginner and advanced skaters, and are a great introduction to the joys of skating outdoors. Parks and Rec’s work at Westchester has been a bright spot in an otherwise strange and challenging winter here in Anchorage.
