Where to get a Thanksgiving Day meal in Anchorage

Community dinners

Bean’s Cafe — Bean’s Cafe will be hosting a free Thanksgiving meal for anyone in need. The dinner is served from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 28, at 1020 E. Fourth Ave. Donations are accepted for Bean’s work toward food insecurity.

Kriner’s Diner — For the 12th year, Kriner’s Diner is offering a free Thanksgiving meal from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. It’s drive-thru and any donations will go to The Children’s Lunchbox.

Carrs — The grocery chain has full dinners available for purchase. Pickup times and dates are flexible and locations vary.
