Letter: Listen to Alaskans

Why does Jim Lieb believe Alaskans could possibly get to vote on what North America’s tallest peak should be called? The name has already been changed back to McKinley. Alaskans did get to vote on who to represent us in D.C. We elected Dan Sullivan and Lisa Murkowski, who both maintain their constituents prefer the name Denali. We also elected Donald Trump, whose many campaign promises included changing the name to McKinley. If Mr. Lieb really wants to know what the majority of Alaskans want to call the mountain, he can just listen to what they actually do call it.
